Factory engine color code?
Anyone know EXACTLY what the factory engine color is for our IDI engines?
I'm going to be sandblasting/sanding my '86 6.9 engine soon and painting it before dropping it in my '89 F150, and I'd like to paint it all factory color, to see how it turns out, kind of like a test, to see how it's gonna look like on the '90 7.3 once I do that one.
Obviously it's gray... but anyone know what shape of gray? Color code be nice!
