So the f350 I got when driving, sounds like a whistle almost like how a turbo would wind up. Is it just the engine sucking in air cause its the 460 block? Just curious thanks guys.
My 302 has got an exhaust leak right now, she sounds like a diesel at idle. It's also got a gaspy whistle coming from a vacuum leak. Could be the same for yours.
Most of the time a whistle is caused by a vacuum leak. My 62 Ford/Boyertown Stepvan had a real loud whistle which turned out to be an intake gasket leak on the engine. (223 I-6).
