Blade, or electric....

I use the persona triple edge from walmart. pretty close to the other 3blkaded jobs but about half the cost for blades. I also use the shaving gel. If I am going out with the wife I will put on a little cologne. The only cologne I use is called Pi. I tried to use electrics in the past, but could never get used to them.

I tried it. I got more razor cuts from that one then I have had in years. The first 2 or 3 shaves aren't too bad, but then they start getting you. Went back to the regular Mach III. The Turbo sure does cut nice and easy, smooth too. You don't even know you've cut yourself until the blood starts. And it doesn't last near as long. The Mach III never cuts me and lasts longer though still not as many shaves out of it as the Sensor Excel.

Blade, or electric....

I'm with Goofin... straight razor, stropped on a leather strap... used with a brush and mug. I have a moustache and goatee, and for have found that I can get closer to the "border" of my beard with the straight razor.

My father has been a barber for 40 years, and taught my brother and I how to shave with the straight razor and not cut our throats.

I use the Mach III Turbo, and Edge Pro Gel for sensitive skin, and love it.
I still use an electric when I'm strapped for time, but don't enjoy it.
