Body Mounts

Hey Guys,
We have just started to restore a 1967 F100. The front body mounts are in pretty rough shape. We purchased some new ones and have intentions to replace them, screw them in and then take to a welder. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. We would do one side at a time with a floor jack and jack stands.

I need to do this to my front driver cab mount, its rusted out pretty bad.
