There not hard at all, floor jack 1' long 2X4 and jack the body up one at a time.
One guy said that he used polyurenthane mounts, and the cracks in the B-piller got even worse. Maybe the polyurenthane doesnt let the body flex like it should, I don't know.
Good luck

I would tend to agree with Broncoroadkill. Body mounts are one place I would replace the factory rubber. They may not last quite as long but they will keep the ride from stiffening up on you.

I replaced mine with the poly's a few years back..... The ride may have stiffened, but it's hard to say because I changed out my springs at around the same time. To whatever degree the ride may have stiffened by the mounts was negated by fresh springs. (I also welded my pillar cracks at the same time - knock on wood, they haven't returned).

Allow yourself some time and patience. The concept of changing out the mounts is simple enough, but the actual practice may give you some headaches. Do a search in the forum..... your mounts have two steel sleeves at the core, which "mushroom" and swell together when installed. Your biggest problem will be separating the halves, which will likely involve beating a 1/2" drift punch with a small sledge through the topside access hole. With some luck, they'll separate with little effort. With some years on the mounts, they may be more difficult. Plan on new sleeves with the purchase of new mounts. Hint: the new sleeves are much cheaper through a source like broncograveyard.com than from Ford. Best of luck!

I just replaced the body mounts on my 1995 with a set of Daystar poly's. It was a tough job. I ended up drilling the heads off of the bolts from the top and making a puller to remove them from the bottom. This allowsed me to reuse the existing sleeves with the new mounts. Good luck

I just ordered new polygraphite body mounts from the place below. Jeff's Bronco Graveyard wants $279.00 for the hardware, which includes the sleeves and another $80.00 for poly bushings. The place below provides you with everything less the bolts for $125.00.
