Hey guys good to be back , I have a 75 f100 with no brake lights. I have checked the wiring harness for voltage but no luck. I have traced everything back but i am stuck on the master cylinder it has 2 wires coming off and when I check it with the ohmmeter it is showing a short. It must be some sort of pressure switch, but I am not sure I am a electronics engineer and I should be able to figure this out. Maybe a wiring diagram or something would help. Thanks in advance you guys are awesome!

What does this mean? What specifically did you measure, and what were the results? Be exact about what the meter was set to, where the probes were placed, what conditions were in effect, and what the meter displayed. I should be able to recreate your exact measurement on my truck based on your explanation without any confusion. If you're an engineer, then you'll appreciate the importance of my instructions.

Are you sure the wires you are looking at are coming off the master cylinder, and not the proportioning valve? If the latter, the switch on the proportioning valve has nothing to do with the brake lights.
Check the voltage on BOTH sides of the brake light fuse, and report your results.
I would check brake light fuse first with a test light .If you have power to both sides of fuse your fuse is good .I'd also check brake light switch on brake pedal should be 2 wires see if you have power going to the switch
