Still Having Issues
I am driving my 1979 F250 with a 460 7.5 liter v8. I have been having what seem like fuel line issues still. I can get my truck to start with some pumping of the gas, It will idle fine, when I give it some gas it dies on me. Another weird thing is when i am gassing it in reverse it runs just fine. I have a fuel filter to swap out but it I also seem to not be able to find where my filter is located on my truck. I thought it was in the front of my carb where the fuel line goes in but when I disconnected it and checked there was nothing there. and thus putting the line back on i ripped my rubber fuel line hose. ( i fixed that) I just need som help/ advice, im really new to doing my own car maintenance but I love my truck.
