Not sure what you mean, my signature used to say If you oppose the governments attempt to ban certain semi automatic weapons, please contact your elected officials and let them know. Then I gave a link to the nra's page that makes it easy to do so. I was asked to change it because someone complained.
No you did not offend anyone, there was a post from a "troll" or a "bot" (hnjdjndghzhao) that had some garbage about his signature offending someone.. It's been cleaned up now.. Thanks, mods!!!!!
That was what my post was about...... Refer back to post #14 & #15
Also note that there should be a similar set of connectors under the hood, just behind the driver's side wheel well, where two relays hook in. I don't know about most trucks coming with the wiring if they were tow-package, but I know mine didn't. I ended up cutting off both sets of harnesses and just splicing in the relay sockets and 7-prong. The 4-wire plug under the dash for the brake controller was included, so that was wired like you'd do an aftermarket radio.

Ive seen the same connectors under the hood , but I don't think these older ones came with a plug under the dash, or atleast nothing that looks like the plugs on the newer 92-96 trucks.

yes.they are there.
it was something odd about my 1993 using a slightly different size connector than the others.but the 9th gens with tow package did include the brake control wire plug under the dash.
i reread this thread now,
i see your looking in the junkyard so this may or not interest you,but here is what i did:

wire that in to the tow package harness you see under the rear bumper and your all updated and don't need the adapters for trailers that use the round or the 4.if you have any older trailers with the older 6 way plugs, don't even mess with adapters for those either.just update them to the newer plugs too.
it's just a few bucks, but makes it all so nice.i went through and did this to my truck and trailers and it was worth every penny and the time.
went right through my dump trailer completely with new wiring for everything once i added the brakes, and updated it's connector.i have use of everything on that one.tail, brake, blinkers, backup, battery charger.
it's nice to just plug in anything like a new truck without those frigging adapters on stuff.

Ok, cool, I'll keep that in mind if I don't have any luck. Thanks
