I rented the tool at advanced auto. Doesn't work the best, but it does work. I've also used an air hammer with a long blunt tip to spin off the fan clutch.
The easiest way to do this.
1.Rent the tool ftom auto zone.
2. Use a ratchet strap and connect one end to the body frame, loop it around the pully then hook it off on the other side. Make sure the strap is in a nice straight line and isn't snagging any thing. Snug it down.
3. Use the autozone tool, and the nut should brake effortlessly.

Not trying to be a smart azz, but if you rent the tool, why do you need a ratchet strap? 1 wrench around the 4 fan clutch bolts, 1 wrench around the nut. End of story.

Ill let you answer yourself.

The wrenchs Auto Zone rented to me were a joke.
One that went around the fan clucth was fine.
The one going around the four 10mm bolts was not even a wrench at all. Hard to describe but it was an open end wrench on both ends with no handle. I could not get any leverage on it.
So with half assed fan clutch wrench and no air hammer, how do you get the nut off?

I rented the wrench kit from AutoZone. With the belt still attached, I used the wrench and a rubber mallet to shock it loose.
Fan is still sitting next to the backyard fence. We made a trip from Nampa, ID to La Grande, OR and back pulling our travel trailer. No overheating problems. I'm gonna leave the fan by the fence for awhile. The hot weather hasn't arrived yet. It's only been in the upper-80s and lower-90s. Summer hasn't arrived yet.
