Water pump help???
A real quick quuestion for you all... How do you get the damn fan clutch off. I am getting ready to put a new water pump on my 1996 I6 truck and can't get the fan clutch off... any suggestions?

Two wrenches.
One wrench is very wide and has a notch in one side to help grab the bolts from the water pump face plate, the other wrench goes over the large nut. The nut loosens by going clockwise.
The tool can be rented at most shops.The best way is to go to a place that loans out the tools, pay a deposit, then bring the tool back and get all your money back. However, the tools they rent out are very poor quality, and sometimes you can bend the wrench before that very tight nut comes loose.
