For those of you who are familiar, I used to own a '51 F1 affectionatly known as Lucille. I ended up having to sell her to finish a garage project which ironically began with Lucille in mind. As luck would have it, I ran across another '51 that was destined to be with me so I bought her. I've attached a few pics below. She was a frame off resto (according to the PO who supplied pics) and someone put a '69 Ford 390cu.in. engine in her with a C6 tranny. The cab is very solid and doesn't appear to have been patched together, doors look good too. The box was replaced and he replaced the fenders with aftermarket fiberglass fenders. All in all she's pretty decent. The PO ended up driving the truck to my house (100 miles or so) and I bought it. I think a killer deal for $8200. but time will tell. She needs some TLC so I'll keep you all posted to the changes (although anything major will most likely happen over the winter).
Glad to be back among all of you!
Thanks to everyone on FTE, I'm really stoked about having another F1. I posted some pictures in a gallery (on my website) for those interested in checking them out.
