Those are Auto Gage, not Auto Meter. Not bad gauges by any means, but they are still no Auto Meters. Be sure to post a picture with the pod installed. I'm interested to see how it will look.
I'll probably have it in tomorrow or Thursday and I'll post pics then.

Yep, it has Auto Meter on the box and on the actual gauges.
Not 100% sold on mounting here yet, I'll have to see how I feel with the hood on to know if it's going to bock my vision too much or not. I think it will be fine, but I want to know for sure before I cut a hole in my dash and my pad that I just reupholstered this weekend.
Personally I would prefer to have it mounted over the radio near the center of the dash. That way it wouldn't block as much of your vision. The pod looks really nice though.

I'll just see how I feel about it once the hood is on. If it doesn't stick up past the hood too far it'll stay there, but if it's in my way I'll move it over to the middle. It was just kind of hard to read in the center since the gauges are facing dead on backwards and not angles towards me.
I have my tach right there and it's not blocking my vision of the edge of the hood. I do have aftermarket seats but they aren't much taller than stock and I'm only 5'9" Should be just fine, especially if you're going to sink it down into the dash pad.
I have a feeling it will be fine, I just want to double check first.

I tossed around this idea before, and was going to try it until I found the Mustang pod configured exactly how I wanted it so I just went ahead and ordered it.
Engine progress didn't get quite as far as I wanted this week, but I got the bottom end all buttoned up, oil pump in, timing cover and pan on, cam in, and bolted the heads on. Hopefully next weekend I'll be able to get the push rods, lifters, and rockers in, and paint it.
Tomorrow I'm going to work on the wiring some more to hook up my fuel pump, and get my 3G alternator swap and HEI ignition system figured out.
I went to wire up my NSS today and discovered this mess of bare copper, so I ordered a new one from A1 Auto
I also swapped the alternator pulley on my new 3G since it had the newer style belt on it. I just have to get a plug for the white/black wire and throw it on
Sorry to skip so far ahead here on you guys, if you've been following my build on Instagram you're more in the loop on what is going on. For those of you who aren't, my app and the mobile site haven't been working for me for the past month or so. In that time, I have painted the engine and completed assembly. I dropped it in the truck and unfortunately due to valve cover clearance I had to remove the heater box, because it wasn't even going to clear with a 3" body lift. I also replaced all of the body bushings and added new grade 8 hardware. I found the bushings online for considerably cheaper than LMC and ended with only maybe $80 in bushings and hardware.
