55 cab needed

does anyone in the south have a solid cab for a 55 'f100? there is little to choose from here in north ms.i am willing to travel and will consider f600 if it is solid. p.s. do all these trucks come with a 5 foot long chicken snake as my 2 most recent treasures have. should i return the snake or,,,where did it go???? still looking. johnny ray

Try going to www.junkyards.com and see what they can locate for you. They helped me find some stuff for my old 55 Ford Panel a time back, before it was stolen and trashed. Good luck...oh..and in this resto project do me a favor...please keep it all Ford. ( whine whine ) It absolutely sickens me to see such a nice rig sitting there with GM running gear. A good 302 or 351 Windsor will push it along right nicely. I had a 292 in mine after I wore the 223 out and man did that 292 - 4bbl haul!! Only problem was with a spun cam bearing and the necessitated overhead oilers back then. Good luck!
