All you would need is the oil cooler heat exchanger and the lower radiator hose with the two hoses coming off of it. I would check a junk yard for one. This is a oil cooler for your engine oil. The tranny cooler is seperate. If you tow a lot I definantly would get a transmission cooler if you dont already have one. Mine was stolen and I got a replacement external tranny cooler form the junkyard off of a 95 eddie bauer bronco. Cost me 20 bucks.
Personally, a stand-alone, external oil cooler, not unlike a tranny fluid cooler would be just as efficient if not moreso I would think. Something to look into though either way.
How did they steal your tranny cooler? Did you not have a grill or did they destroy that in the process? Seems like it would kind of leave you stranded
Stole the whole bronco. Then stripped the fenders, hood ,grill ,etc.
Also the interior. I bought it after the theft from a family friend. Paid 3800 it has 50000 miles on it. I found a burnt 93 for parts and put the 96 back together. Took me over a year to finish. I am pleased with the results and it is paid for. Did alot of the work myself, but dumped a lot of money in to it. Lift, new gears ,lockers ,etc.
