Thanks Darren, shop manual reps attempted! My info was from the previous 6.4L Powerstroke engine and I made the bad assumption that it was quite a job from that. It appears I was wrong.
Looking at it on the truck it does not look all that easy to me. Not a lot of room and looks like you would need to get at it from top and bottom. Maybe 2 people would do it easier, IDK, I am not a mechanic.
For 6/10 hour labor...... they can have it
All I see is frustration
I had a buddy help me this morning and we changed the belt. Wasn't too bad once we actually followed the directions. Definitely helped having another set of hands.
Darren. Went out and done it just to see if one craps on a trip.it was cold. It can be done in .5 hr no biggy. But hot wouldnt be fun. I didnt need any help.

Thanks for the info guys
Did you use OEM belts? I always had good luck with the goodyear gatorbacks but not sure if they have one for this truck.
Changed the serp belt on my 2003 F250 Super Duty. Nothing had to come off. I'm 6'3 and had to use a small ladder to reach. Had a short friend climb in the engine compartment the first time. Just don't start the engine or he may get wrapped up in a pulley, LOL
I went ahead and let the dealer change mine out when they installed the new engine a little over a week ago. It has to go back tomorrow for a few things and I already have 1300 miles on the new engine. I'm going to let them change the oil in it for the heck of it.
