Need a new tailgate.

I need a new tailgate. Ford wants like 800 bones for a new one. None at the junkers. Has anyone used aftermarket, and what brand?

When I replaced the tailgates on my 86 and 95 F150 I was warned to stay away from aftermarket. They are not built as well is what I was told.

I don't have experience with aftermarket tailgates, but I did buy an aftermarket pre-painted fender on e-bay for my daughters car when she wanted a cheap fix. The fit and finish was pretty good, but now 5 years later it is starting to rust pretty badly. If you're planning to keep the truck for any length of time stay away from aftermarket.
