f150 tailgate
my 1986 f150 came with an aftermarket tailgate that is badly in need of replacement. In surching the local junkyards I found that most tailgates that would fit are in very bad condition. Could I use one of the newer ones, and changr the hinges to accept the newerstyle tailgate, and then put the older cathches toon the newertailgat so it would catch?
