on my van, i plan to replace the torque converter sometime this summer because one of the studs connecting it to the flex plate is stripped. i remember reading about some greatly improved TC's for it, which had less slip at speed and all that.
for those who don't remember, its a 6.9 with a c6
could anybody point me in the right direction as to which ones are best for fuel economy, durability, etc?
Man, I'm looking at the same thing for my 87 c6. One of those quotes 1800- 2000 rpm stall. thats a tad high i would have thought for a low reving diesel with a 3 speed.
