Either of the two that you last posted.
If your tfi module is on the side of the distributor and not on the fenderwell, they are correct. Both the summit and the MSD one should work fine. But you may need a different gear depending on if you have a regular flat tappet cam. Roller cams require a steel gear which those come with, flat tappet cams require a cast gear usually, find out if the gear on the distributor is compatible with your current cam.
I looked again
The summit dist has steel gear for roller cam
That particular MSD one has an iron gear for flat tappet. The MSD ones I posted I believe had a steel gear. (I didn't look at those again)
Yeah i believe i went with that summit one. I dont remember, all i know is, that it will be here tomorrow haha.
Ive been researching a lot these past couple of days so i have a good grasp on the ignition system and timing. I think it will be hard setting the timing just right because i have no exhaust (open headers) untill i can bring it down to the shop and have them bend some tube....but it will be hard trying to listen to the pinging if its to advanced..
If you're on tdc and look at where rotor is pointing when you remove the old one, or if your on tdc and setting dist for first time...
Mark #1 on side of dist corresponding to where it is on the cap, then drop in dist and rotate it to your mark. It should try to start right there. Turn off key, rotate dist, try again. Go back and forth until it fires up. Although, you could be on tdc of exhaust stroke, so pull out the dist and rotate the rotor button 180* and put back in.
Once it fires up, pull the spout out, and check timing. If you're set at 10* you shouldn't get any ping. And if you're concerned, just don't drive it aggressive until you have exhaust on it.
Well because i am doing a full rebuild and the rest of teh parts i researched and got already.
-351w block that was bored .30, vatted, magnafluxed for cracks, thermal cleaned and steelabrated, honed and plateau honed.

If you wouldnt mind, could you email me your buildsheet for my own research for an upcoming build? Reference sources would be much appreciated as well. Thank You ( divinusmonstrum@gmail.com)
