Dash Boss ?s
Calc vs desired ICP, what should I be seeing here? Actual is running 50-150ish psi behind desired. I'm used to seeing actual as ICP V and since my math skills aren't at the genius level I don't convert that to psi on the fly, but now seeing it converted to PSI has made the difference very apparent.
EBP/Baro/Map: EBP is kPa or psi, map and baro are kPa or inHg. Anyone know the op values in kPa and inHg for these guys? All my notes are in psi IIRC.
Is there a way to get KOEO readings on those (or KOEO/cranking readings in general)? I'd like to verify the sensors are reading close-ish, but haven't been able to get the gateway to connect to the phone at KOEO. Anyway to see FICM V while cranking?
Anyone know the coefficient of drag and frontal area of an SD? Instant fuel economy and the hp numbers are severely jacked up, this has some affect on that right?
App is V1.8, I haven't updated the gateway (didn't come with micro USB and can't find mine). Will updating anything help with anything I've asked so far? Do I need to do it anyways?
My Edge CTS will probably still be my go-to daily driving box, since it automatically kicks on every time I start the truck (not that starting an app is hard by any stretch or an issue with the DB), it's Just always there and never buried in a pocket or bag like my phone, and the mounting solution is more permanent/stable than I've been able to find for my phone yet. But I'm very pleased with Dash Boss so far. I've only used it on the iPhone, but the iPad is up next.
Highly recommended
Tuning goofs with the mass-fuel-desired parameter, and that's what those calculations are based off of.
This is why I've never bothered with the fuel consumption functions of the ScanGaugeII.

(oh, and woohoo, 1500 posts!
)
The calculated ICP will normally show higher or lower compared to Desired when running a tuner.
As for the kpa of the sensors they should be within 3 of each other KOEO
The unit should work in KOEO. I however don't bother as the engine starts so quickly to really get any usefull numbers during crank. You could run the record during crank to get numbers too.
