Torque Values For Exhaust Manifold Studs

Torque Values For Exhaust Manifold Studs
I ran into these torque values . Since numerous members are working on their exhaust manifold studs, I thought it might be useful . These values are from :
2000 F-Super Duty 250-550/Excursion/F-53 Motorhome Chassis Workshop Manual
( Procedure revision date :06/21/1999 )
1- Exhaust manifold stud nuts : 17-20 Lb/ft ( 23-27 Nm)
2-Exhaust pipe flange bolts : 27-34 Lb/ft (34-46 Nm)
3- EGR pipe connection (on both end) : 30-44 Lb-ft ( 40-60 Nm).

-Thermal stress (developed after manifold gets hot) might have a lot to do with the torque .
-My observation is that my manifold nuts are rusting before the studs (as if a galvanic corrosion between two materials) .
-Some might call it crazy , but every other year I apply small amount of high-temp grease (like silicone grease) on nut/stud interface) . So far so good .
