That does look like an Audiovox VCR, I'll have to look at the one I took out. Maybe it was special ordered with the accessories... who knows, you could customize stuff a lot more back then when ordering. What gets me though about that rear panel (looks like the unique change) is how the material doesn't seem to match the rest of the console, is it soft touch? The fit n finish just doesn't seem right compared to the rest of the oe stuff. I know that different plastics sometimes react different to flash photography. Also, I have had my display out when I was changing everything out, take a pic of the connector for me.
Definitely NOT the Audiovox unit that is in my overhead, it has a 6 pin molex A/V connector and a motherboard style power connector. That looks like a ford OEM style connector, same for the back of the factory stereo at the RSE connection.

Back to square one. I was really hoping my stuff matched yours. I really appreciate you taking the time to look.
I have one of these and thought I had the only one in existence. I really dont like it and would be happy to swap it with the standard overhead console and headliner if anyone is interested.
