more questions on e99
ive been looking at this e99 for my dad. it has no power to the ign switch. so I put a meter to the switch to see whats hot constant. I hooked a jumper wire from the battery in the 99 and touched it to the wires that are supposed to be constant power and this engaged the starter. I tried 3 different wire that are hot in my 00 with the key off and they all engaged the starter.
is this a short?
or is it the gem?
no dash lights, no dome light, ign switch doesn't engage starter, no flashers that's all ive looked at so far.
