I thought something was wrong with the volume on my computer. It's all good though. Nice job!

I guess this is as good a place as any to ask questions about my green coolant, i don't want to high jack. but, I've owned my truck for right at 12 yrs. and have never done a thing to the coolant but check to see if it was good enough for winter with the little ball float tester. and its been a few years since i done that, so i don't even remember what it read.
so, how long is the green good for? i assume i should go ahead and flush it out really good from what i've read about cavitation . i have read a few threads about the different coolants but to be honest its a little confusing with all the different choices . so, would some one spell it out for me in fifth grader words as to which one i should go with and how much of the additive to use. i know i need to stay with the green with my truck being a e99. and lastly, where can i buy every thing at? thanks every one. chris

JMO here but I'd say you got your $$$ worth out of that coolant & I would go ahead & do a flush & replace it. You should be able to find everything at your local auto part store, I know NAPA near me carries the Anti-Freeze & Additive along with the test strips.
IDK for sure but I believe I've seen that the Anti-Freeze should be changed at somewhere around 5 years but I know I've had vehicles without changing it for much longer than that. When I had the green in mine I tried to check it with the test strips every 6 mos. or so.

You need to have your coolant flushed since you are past 100,000 miles. You can do it or a local dealer can do it for you. You may need to go to the dealer to get the coolant.

I also recommend a coolant filter, not just for you, but for everyone.

Its a common problem I run into. Luckily I'm not saying anything too important.
