"Change oil soon" message
For the first time since I bought the truck, I'm getting the "Change oil soon" message. With DEF, you know how many miles you've got left before the system starts to shut the truck down to some extent. I can't find anywhere in the manual/supplement how long it's safe to drive before changing the oil.
Are you given enough warning to drive a few hundred miles, or is the need immediate? Does anyone know?

Yes it's safe to drive for a bit after that message. The oil isn't going to instantly decompose and break down into sludge. Oil change intervals are always very conservative.
The 'Oil Change Soon' message will change to 'Oil Change Required' later on. So, just take the nearest opportunity to pick up a FL-2051S and 13L of 0W-40 or whatever you want to use.
