Message - Change Oil Soon

I got the "Change Engine Oil Soon" message yesterday. Does anyone know when "soon' is? Is it 100 miles, 1000 miles or what? I can't find anything in the manual.

500 miles before Chang oil required will come on.

Ain't it great that these modern techno-wonders can remind us to change their oil?

Schedule your oil change and don't forget to reset the oil life monitor in the information center.

Gotta love these trucks!! Don't worry - be happy!

Not all dealers will reset the message (don't know, forgot, whatever) so if you have your dealer do it, reset the message yourself before you drive off; assuming the dealer didn't put a bunch of miles on it.

How many miles when this message activated?
