I'd buy as much stuff as I can now, because in 5 years, $600,000,000 dollars will probably barely pay for a loaf of bread.
sadly there is alot of truth to that, invest in gold and sliver if you want to save money, they are the currency that hold value the best
I would buy more work like the other guys said a farm and equipment, knowing me it would just be more of the same junk I already have. I would get a nice heated shop with a full contret flood.
My idi's would all have around 300 horse, my 87 would get ac, my f-150 would get a super charger.
Also I would get a wash machine that donsen't put holes in my jeans, a new chair that I could sleep in, one of those 100 buck fancy foam pillows that won't hurt my neck, last I think I would get a toster that will evenly toast my ham, cheeze, peanut butter sandwicthes.
Then maybe a woman will come along and spend the rest for me
Honestly probably, i would save 90%, buy a house, an 07 F150, 05 GT, and a bunch of late 30s cars and a TON of guns. Would no doubt finish my 79 and my buick. To keep me busy ill just build stuff to sell, i like building random stuff, bumpers, flatbeds, 4x4 el caminos on 40s... just your every day stuff. Would buy the farm back too, help my grandparents out, and habitually drag race / sled pull
I'd have it all spent within 10years, Real Estate, Rentals, Commercial, etc. Since my Family and relatives work constructions and other things, have them run it all.
Help my girl friend get full custody for her children.
Buy a decommissioned Missile Silo Complex and convert to luxury yet green home with full machine shop, testing areas, and more.
Live a simple life doing what I love, inventing (full funding oh yea), get my brother the electrical and computer wiz to join me (I am mechanically inclined, not electrically).
Start high school competitions where students compete designing, building, and racing/testing Green energy vehicles and systems.
Create a specialty school where High School age Students can learn manufacturing, machining, welding, and other skills as well as have the opportunity to work with existing engineers to design and build an invention of theirs and explore the professional side of things that are of great interest to them. The targeted youth for such a school would be lower income families where the families can't afford their children higher education.
The mass purchasing of real estate for rentals and such is to simply ensure all things I want to do will have full funding even after the Jackpot is spent.
I dont care much for lotteries, I have never bought a lotto ticket (Today might be the day I do just for ****s...)...However...
Id build Justin Anderson's fantasy factory... A sea of CNC machines, a foundry, hire a bunch of people to run everything, and pretty much build whatever I felt like building on any particular day, for any particular reason, and have the capability to build anything.
Also would buy several pieces of large land around the country...Probably a house on the water up on the BC coast somewhere...Probably live in NV somewhere.
Find some way to invest/shelter the rest of it, because there are people out there who feel they are entitled to somebody elses property...
Its one thing to look at it in the sense that F250 mentioned, if you didnt earn it, you dont deserve it, however, I look at it as more of an investment, you invest your $2, and if the situation is right for your decision to work (ie. picking the right numbers) your investment will pay off... And then imagine the creation that could take place if you had that capital... To me, I would be a more worthwhile person if I had 300m to my name, instead of my current net worth, not in just numbers, but in capabilty... Imagine what could be produced.

but gambling is nothing at all like investing brother.more people have lost so much dreaming, they have piddled away several thousands of dollars over the years for no return at all.
it;s one thing to take a risk you can afford,it's another to simply flush $ down the toilet, with odds so far extreme it's beyond pointless and into the realm of insanity.

If the tickets my wife purchased win I will quit my job at the end of this hitch. Spend some quality time with my family and then find a job that I enjoy that lets me be home every night. Or be a stay at home dad and have the wife get a job to get her out of the house.
get rid of the IDI and get a truck with some *****. Drove a stock 6.4 the other day. stock they are absolute turds, but still worlds better than the idi in performance.....i'd buy a 6.0l though....6.4's tuned and deleted are nice, but the EPA will ruin that......
