Fuel pump!
Had to share, the EX quit on me the other day. Tried it the next morning started right up. On the way home it died again, turns out it was the fuel pump. After dropping the tank, the bar code on the fuel pump read same as manufacture date, 06/2000! 13 years and 209,000 miles on one fuel pump. 2000, 5.4l

Wow, 209,000 miles is pretty good for the stock pump! Mine is a '00 model, and my pump quit a few months ago with 118,000 miles on it. I replaced it before it quit for good, but it got to the point where the pump wouldn't start after sitting all night.
