power window issue

The drivers side window on my 86 is rarely refusing to cooperate. I say rare because the majority of the time it works.. then some days it just doesn't roll down.

Am I looking at the motor or something else?

I would suspect the switch first. Ford power window switches ground both sides at rest, then power either one or the other of the motor wires as needed.
