I posted on the neon and dodge forums and they are nothing like chevytalk and ford-trucks.com. And they never answered me or if they did it was not like the help we get here.

i posted asking if the neon had an interference engine when the timing belt went.
i got the answer that it was not.
3 weeks after it was fixed.

It doesn't have A zero interference engine, And either does the stratus. You find a lot more help here. There are a whole bunch of good guys here that are will to help.
yea, i found out it was not an interference engine by talking to a retired dodge mechanic the next day.
i was not going to dump a ton of money into that car if it needed major repairs again.
since it only needed a belt it was worth the $120 to fix it.
