integrated brake controller not working

integrated brake controller not working
Already made appt. at dealer to check it out. What happens is plug in my camper I get lights but truck does not display that trailer is hooked up. and gain setting does not pop up. Also of course no brakes. Fuse checked good. I am assuming dealer did not flash computer correctly or at all. Needless to say very frustrating when picking up new camper. I was gonna check it last week to make sure it worked but didn't have time. Didn't figure I would have to double check the dealer,s handy work.

So the truck did not come with the TBC and you had it added?
If that is the case then I would agree that the flash did not take or was not installed.
Otherwise there should be a fault.

Pretty sure they did not cause that would be an extra charge. The truck came with all the towing package components except the controller. Was under the impression that all it needed was the controller and a computer flash from what I had read on here before going through with it.
