Ii have a question. I have a 1994 Ford Explorer XLT. It just died the other night. I have dim dome light, nothing else. I had the battery and alternator tested, both are ok. I get an occasional click when trying to start it. I also get an occasional beeping, the key in the ignition sound. Any I dieas? I`ve checked the fuses, and can`t find a broken one.
I had found this issue just about two hours ago. There wasn`t any visible signs of corrosion, but inside the positive side clamp was where the problem was, both the main cable and the one that ran to the solenoid. I cut them back about an inch, washed the ends with coca-cola and baking soda. Fired right up as soon as got it back together. Thanks for your help. I`m Jack, and I`m new, but I`ll be around. Thanks again!
