No crack in the Intake? also look at the air filter make sure its sliped in at the bottom follow the line thru maf senser and clamp to turbo.cant remember the name of the clear filter minder off of the filter houseing

Can your turbo overboost at idle? Looking to pick up a scanner as my current one does not have a boost monitor. Was out of town for a few days so have not had a chance to dig into the issue.

Yes SIR it can OverBoost at anytime
It can Also be Under the 28psi boost Max and overboost
Overboost can happen anytime Boost Pressure/Volume is Higher then Demand
You will need a gauge that plugs into OBDII Port that reads Live Data
