I have converted my '85 F250 4X4 351W over to a duraspark ingition. I am removing as much of the old ingition system as possible. I unhooked the computer from the plug and traced the wires out and removed them all except a couple of them. The 2 wires I didn't remove go to these 2 "things" My question is what are these 2 "things" and do I need them? Both of these "things" were/are mounted under the dash on the mounting bracket for the old computer. One of the wires from the old computer plug goes to the one still mounted to the bracket. There is a red wire attaching the 2 of them together. There is also 2 or 3 other wire going other places I haven't traced out yet. I would appreciate your input and you sharing your knowledge, thank you in advance.
I assume you probably have the 2 bbl feedback carb. I would have to look at the wiring diagram for your system. One of them is the power relay for the system, the other may be a choke heater relay, but don't know for certain.

The truck as an after market Edelbrock high rise 4 barrell intake and an Edelbrock 4 barrell carb. The only wires on the carb are the ones I ran to hook up the electric choke. I really appreciate your input gentlemen, Thank you for your help and for sharing your knowledge.
