programming instrument cluster
The odometer and temp LCD display went out on my truck (2004 XLT). I've pulled the unit looking for bad solder joints and loose connections, but no luck. I see LKQ sells used clusters and the programming is required. Is the programming required to get the correct mileage, or will it simply not function at all?
I'll likely keep the truck for a long time so I don't really care if the mileage is accurate. Still got my '95 I purchased new.
