Transmission Upgrades?
I have a 2002 F-250 w/ the 7.3L. After 310K miles my transmission finally went out. I am looking for a few upgrades for my new transmission. I want to put a stronger torque converter in it, and anything else that can help me out in the long run. I do tow heavy trailers a lot and i like to play in the mud every now and then. Im trying to find the best products for the best price.
My other question is, is anyone using the TS Performance Converter Lock-Up? I was looking at getting it, or is it junk. Pro's & Con's?
As of now I have S&B Intake, MBRP 5" Turbo Back Kit, TS 6 Pos Chip, CTS chip/ monitor, and Air Dog Fuel Pump/system.

Cheap and best don't always go hand in hand. For the lock up, you can wire that up on your own. Check out the 7.3 section further down the forum listing.
For the transmission, BTS in Arkansas, John Woods in CA, David Lott in TX, and although less publicized on the forums, Bill at RacerX can build you a great 4R100. RacerX will sell you the parts if you want to upgrade or build it yourself.
