Stuck on gauge install. Quick help please

So 3 of the 4 gauges are done, like I said in one of my earlier post I have no problems as long as I have pictures. Clays instructions worked great on the common 3, but theres nothing for the fuel pressure. He said theres 2 places to tap into behind the fuel bowl, but I cant seem to find where.

Now does anybody have a picture of it installed or what bolt I need to pull to plug in the sensor for the Isspro EV2's.

Searching now, but figured I do a post to double up the quickness.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have a picture but there are two ports on the fuel filter bowl. Both point towards the firewall. I believe they are torx style plugs. The one is up towards the top of the fuel filter bowl on the driver side. This one monitors fuel pressure before the filter.

The other is on the passenger side of the fuel bowl, but it is down low and sort of hard to get to. This one monitors the fuel pressure after the fuel filter, which is what most guys go with.

Just a warning it can be tricky to get it tight enough if you go with this route. Not much room for your wrench.

And do I need to drain the bowl first?

Lower will be post filter, it's what I recommend. If the filter clogs you will see a pressure drop. Yes you should drain the bowl. Don't have to technically, but removing the plug will drain it, so might as well drain using the valve before removing the plug.

Let us know how it goes. I've got to order the program so I can try and get rid of the flicker when I dim the dash lights. That or rewire them separate.

The fuel bowl plugs are exactly the same as the top HPOP reservoir plug.

Little to late to re-read this thread. Got it put in the lower, which was a pain. And yea I didnt drain it, it drained itself when I started pulling the plug.

And what is the flickering? If I have the lights on and they light up, on the full power position (guess the brightest on the dimmer **** it comes with) its just fine. If I try to lower it to match the dash then it flickers a little.

And Tug thanks. Ive already learned on here that I can always count on you to get me pictures.

Yeah, that's the flicker. They should be able to dim all the way down, but instead, the hit a point where the just cut out. They haven't bothered me as much as I thought they would though.

Not that I can confirm. There is software for the gauges where you can get from clay. It allows you to program various things, such as redline alarm, sensitivity, motion, etc... There's a setting for max an min voltage I think, that may do something to help, there's also a setting for auto headlights. Apparently the auto headlight affect them and cause the flicker. Isspro included a setting in the software to compensate for it.

I haven't called isspro personally, I had a thread on here somewhere where several said that was the fix. Then again, several said I just had to deal with it. I will be ordering the software next time I get something from clay (ICP and EBP are coming up soon) and will try it.

I have mine wired through 2 dimmers, which could cause some of the issue. The gauge dimmer and the isspro dimmer. Several have suggested that I use only the isspro dimmer, but I want to try the software first.

I have the software (25 bucks from Clay). I like the feature where you can program your alarm any ol' way you want and test it.

Yea mine I guess is through both, followed Clays directions to the T. Ill wait to see what its all about because its not to bad. One of my gauges seems to be more glitchy movements than smooth like the boost and pyro, think its the fuel pressure. Now thats annoying.
