I bought my truck last Wednesday, and this is happened twice. The first time this happened to me was last Thursday. I was leaving our friend's antique store and while pulling out of the parking lot, my passenger door flew open, luckily I was not yet on the road. I backed up, put the truck in park and got outside to shut it. Without really watching, I went to shut it, but it flew back open! I proceeded to slam it, atleast 3 times but it was as if something was blocking the latch. I reached for the power windows and lock switch to try, but they too did not work. After a few seconds of moving the window switch back and forth, it finally started to go up and down (My windows are fast, just like a new car) and the lock started to work again. I tried to shut the door again and it shut properly , first try. I got in my truck and drove off. I should also mention that I only opened that door at school, but I drove all the way from my school to the store with no problems. Needless to say, the same thing happened this afternoon when leaving the school parking lot. As I pulled out of my spot, going less than 10 mph, the door cracked open, so I pulled over and done the same thing as last week.

Now everytime I drive, I guess I should pull the door and make sure it locks. BTW, I should say that the manual key lock doesn't work on that side either.

So, other than the key hole latch for the passenger side....can any one attempt to guess why my door can fly open????
