Hey guys, ive got a few question to ask ya. First off, when I traded my D70, the guy told me that the rear windows out of the F-series were interchangeable from 1973-1996. Is this true? Was thinkin bout putin in a new rear Sliding window in my 77', its shot.
Second question. Will the fiberglass sunvisors from 80'-96' F-series fit the Dents? I found a cheap one, but not sure if ill go for it. Was thinkin bout putting a Stainless Steel one off a Big Rig
They're known to cause rust issues but I think that was more of the crummy hardware used back in the day. I suggest nutserts, sealant, touch-up paint, and 3M strip caulk to stave off potential rust formation.
On the same basic topic of the rear window. I have a completely shot rear window with sliders. To switch to a solid rear window, do I just need the piece of glass and the rubber seal? I plan on having it put in by a professional, and just want to make sure I don't need anything else.

Thanks in advance.
Yep. Just make sure you get the right era of rubber seal for what window you use. I'm not sure the differences, but I don't think a 80-96 seal will work with a 73-79 window. I'm doing the same thing with my supercab. My slider wasn't very good so I just got a solid window out of a 79 and plan on putting it in soon.
FYI: the CL-Lawrence sliders are really nice. I have one in my 77 and is much better than the old ones.
