Door keypad issues
Hi, guys. Just replaced my wireless door keypad battery and now my pad is locking the doors with only a push on the 7-8 key instead of 7-8 and 9-10 as before. It will not accept any programming per the manual. In fact, manual says no programming needed after a battery change. First digit of factory code happens to be an 8 which seems to defeat any attempt to add a code. Also, factory code does not unlock doors, either. I removed it with godlike care and tested before putting it back on the door. I'm wondering if taking it off flexed the board or something?? The fact that the 7-8 key does what the 7-8 and 9-10 did before has me wondering about crossed contacts. Thanks in advance for any ideas. Ed.
