Problems after installing new intake 460

Ok, after some great advice from everyone I purchased a weiand 2012 intake for my 460. It ran GREAT for about a week, better than it ever did before. Well Sunday I started it up and it was running rough, thought it may be a fluke. Started Monday and same thing, it's running rough at idle, doesn't seem to be too bad as far as regular driving. But it also smells like its burning oil. Could my gasket have not seated right or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

usually you have to retorque the intake bolts after a few heat cycles as the intake gasket compresses.

retorque your bolts and it will probably be as good as new.

Unfortunately that didn't seem to help. Guess I'll peel it off and do it again. Thanks for the input

Yea, and do it quick, the intake valves will get gummed up quick when the gasket leaks. Retorqe MANY times till it stays torqued.
