Carb size ?
I have a 79 150. 460 .060 over. Rv cam stealth intake. Is the 600cfm Edelbrock good enough for this or should it have something bigger on it?

It will run it but it's going to be a little bit small for the motor. I'd have something in the 700 or a 750 range on it.

Yeah. I kindof thought that with some of my research. Do you think Holley or Edelbrock? I'm somewhat of a novice, but Holley s scare me a bit because of the backfire and power valve deal if I remember correctly

mostly the power valves have backfire protection on them now. biggest problem with the holley's is leaking.
Either will work just fine.

I have a 600cfm on my 466. I plan to get a 750cfm sometime.

Edelbrock it is! Again let me mention that I'm a novice. But what is the difference between vacuum secondaries and mechanical secondaries?
