Yet another spring?

I am looking to do the V/B swap or X/B swap here real soon hopefully in the next couple of weeks? My question is I found a set out of 01 F250 that has leveling kit installed for a fair price just waiting to hear back whet codes the springs are. My question is this should I worry about being used and how will the leveling kit look on the Ex. I already have the 4" lift blocks found great deal on a really nice set of used ones from a gentleman that needed to lower his truck to tow his 5th wheel. Thanks for opinions and advise.

The reason for thinking used springs is because I think I just bought a 91 Explorer. I placed a bid on it on Kbid here thinking I would be out bid and looks like I will be getting my trail/rock crawler project for me and my teenage son . Kind of puts the Ex on the back burner right now.

Well I was out bid on the explorer. Not sure in next couple of weeks I will probably go with new springs. Why do you ask jdw1? I am thinking of trying the suspension king going with there FOR20 for fronts & FOR66 for the rear.

I know a guy that has a set of x/b's that he might sell, but they are used.

How many miles are on them do you know by chance? I am kind of on a budget thats why I was looking at aftermarket manufactures. I have seen others on here that went used. Let me know on those springs. I just thought of something if I go used I could start buying pieces for my 12V Cummins conversion . Really get the wife excited with me.

Thats what I thought on there prices. I emailed the place here in the cities and they were $225 each and didn't seem to know much about the swap and had to measure the u-bolts to give them length. They also came accross as thinking it won't work. Even from the spring king shipping is fair. What shocks are you running jdw1?

Yes I was planning on asking where they are manufactured. They don't reply to there emails, I have sent them 2-3 weeks apart and 2 weeks ago was last one with no response. I think that's sort of poor customer service. Would been nice if they just replied back saying please call us to better answer your questions. I am going to call them hopefully tomorrow or Wensesday before work. Jdw1let me know on those X/B springs if you get time. Thanks
