hi. Can anyone tell me the approximate amount of lift I could expect going from 4400lb springs to 6500lb springs?
My truck is a 2005 4x4 f250 4400 lb front spring and 6100 lb rear springs
It sits quite low compared to most f350's and 250's.
I am looking into changing to either 6000 or 6500 front springs
and a 2.5" leveling kit.
in the rear, a f350 block and an add a leaf.
Or am I better to get a 4" lift kit.
At the end of the day I want to be able to fit 35"s with a bit of extra wiggle room in there. I don't want to go crazy. Anybody have any comments on
if the front ride will be punishing?
Is that too much lift without drop brackets etc.?
I've done 2 lift kits before, but on a leaf spring chevy and a toyota.
so I am not scared of any mechanical work.
But If I can lift the front 3.5" -4" with a leveling kit and springs without any relocation "stuff" I would prefer that. Thanks guys.
best advice is go for the 6,000 springs in the front, should give you a good couple of inches maybe more, That is what is on mine right now and it is not too hard of a ride.
I would do that and see how it raises before I would do more, but if needed a 2.5" leveling of the front with a 1" add a leaf and you can for sure put 35" on there.
