Mid fifty used to sell blank Data Plates (if that's what you mean) but they no longer do. I don't believe anyone is actually allowed to sell blanks anymore (but I could be wrong) but Mid-Fifty does sell completed plates provided you have all the proper proof of ownership.

So can anyone tell me what this tag is supposed to look like?
It's my firewall tag. I can read the code stamped at the top, which matches the frame stamp and glove box tag. But I have no idea what's supposed to be here other than that stamped code. I assume it was info painted on?

Wow, Joe, I replied to this hours ago, but then the database went down so I guess it was lost.
Thanks for the pics. It is definitely the Patent Data plate, and I found it on Dennis Carpenter for $6.00.

John, don't mean to hijack you but I have a question also about the 56 f100 Vin plate. Does anyone know what the production number is on the bottom right corner of the plate? I also need to have one made so I'm trying to get all the info I can. Thanks
