I am curently looking at getting my hands on some 365/85/r20 michelin XML tires. Does anyone know if I run these tires with a steel military rim will this set up be too much for my stock Dana 60?

You did not say what you use your truck for. I run 46" XML's and on my way to saving for my rockwell's went through two Dana 60's and one of those were from Dynatrac. I'm pretty hard on my truck off road though. I would go to a 70 and be worry free or at least beef up that 60.
Psycho what size lift do you have? And haven't I seen that these tires have a maximum speed rating of sixty -five. I want some of these but even with my big lift and tires I sometimes break 85. I am concerned about these things coming apart.

CWB, I am running 13.8" of lift {lucky number, huh} done by Lonestar off road, also known as 'land of giants'. When I was running Dana 70's and 38's,120 all day long. I do not do much above 70 now days. Frank Cull is a factory guy I deal with, and he has heard of only a few cases where the tire has thrown tread resulting in disentigration. Why take the chance though.
