Exhaust question
Hi guys,
I have a 2003 F-250SD V10 with stock exhaust. Is there much gain, performance or otherwise by changing from 2.5 inch to 3 or even 3.5 inch sized exhaust?
The SD is mainly used for towing a 6k pound trailer and seems to struggle. I am adding a new K/N intake kit and am considering exhaust upgrade. I will also be changing rear end ratio from 3.73 to 4.30 which will provide best towing results. So my question is, is it really worth upgrading the exhaust size or should I just change out stock muffler to Magnaflow or similar performance muffler?
