Exhaust drone.

Anyone else have an exhaust drone at 69-70? 68 is fine. 71 is fine. 69-70 either unloaded or towing, I get a pretty decent drone...

I do not have a drone, but I do not have stock exhaust either.

Yep, stock exhaust. Truck is only a few days old.

The exhaust tone will change with time. If it were me, I wouldnt worry about it right now. Seems like this was a more common issue with 2005 and surrounding years trucks due to turbo design.

I have noticed the drone at 70 mph as well. It seems to be more pronounced in cold weather. Probably a resonance occurring in the exhaust and/or induction system. Even with the drone though the truck is extremely quiet.

I have a drone a idle in my 2012. I did not have it in my 2011. Took it in to dealer for service. We compared it two other 6.7L 2012s new on the lot. Drone was present in those at idle too. Dealer declared it normal. Funny how my 2011 did not do that.
