Dizzy Wiring

Went out and worked/wired up the dizzy and ignition box for the duraspark. If I'm correct and have everything wired correctly..i ran the red wire off the box to the positive side of the coil along with the wire that goes to the ignition/ballast wire. The white wire I ran to the starter solenoid, "s" side? sound bout right anybody? haha

No, that's incorrect. Module power does not go directly to the coil. Didn't we work all of this out a couple months back?

That we did. Or so I thought. I actually dug up that thread and read it earlier to get the know how to do it. Ok..
Green wire to negative -check.
White wire to solenoid "s" -check

My issue is with the reds I have. On fordification..it state my wiring harness has the 3 ends that come out..the oil temp and voltage gushed wires. The voltage wire ( one with the ballast resistor in the line) goes to coil positive. SO!
The only snag I'm running into is that measley other red wire off the module. I'm having a hard time understanding where to connect it to.

This red wire being the "hot in run" wire. That I do know.
My thinking was that since my red resistor/coil pos/ voltage (all one wire) wire ran to the positive..that the hot in run wire from the coil would pick up the voltage and power the module. I'm just having a hard time finding a place to do this..to hook it in.

The module needs to be powered upstream of the ballast resistor. If the positive terminal of the coil and the hot-in-RUN input of the module are tied to the same point, the voltage applied to the module will be a function of the primary current and will sit between 7 and 9 volts, which is too low.

The proper way to wire it is shown in the diagram in the old thread, which describes the connectivity in detail. Because a '68 pre-dates any of this functionality, it's expected that there will be some work involved in the conversion; however, the connectivity shown in the diagram cannot be circumvented.

Ok..so essentially before the resistor. I think if I look at my ignition switch I may be able to find a place near it under dash to splice it in.
