Wiring help
90 F150 4.9, suddenly would not start and traced problem to broken wire coming from loom at the point where the 2 wires are for the plug into the coil. Red wire (with green strip) that connects via a clip to a black wire that I'm having problem find out where to re-connect to. No loose or broken wire about anywhere, wire is hot with ignition on. Manual is not real clear about where it should go.

You should have a red/lightgreen wire that goes to the positive of the coil. On the other terminal of the coil should be a tan/yellow wire that goes to the dist module. Then you have the big wire on the coil that is for the spark.
